In the Bible we read this about the early Christians:
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, and breaking of bread and the prayers…And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42, 46-47)
We seek to live out these commitments both as a whole church and in smaller groups we call Gospel Communities.
It is our desire to devote ourselves to the same things. Each year we have a covenant service where we renew our Core Commitments as a church. These Core Commitments are based on the text above and summarise for us what we are called to be as a church:
